Engle-Hambright & Davies, Inc. (EHD) recently hired Jeffrey S. Alexander as Director of Underwriting in the Employee Benefits department at its Lancaster home office.
Jeff comes to EHD with 27 years of underwriting experience working for Capital BlueCross and most recently, Aetna/Coventry /Health America in Harrisburg, PA, where he served as a Large Group Senior Underwriting Consultant.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Bloomsburg University. Jeff also possesses the HIA (Health Insurance Associate) and MHP (Managed Healthcare Professional) designations.
In his new position with EHD, Jeff will oversee the internal marketing process, working with insurance carriers and other partners to develop plan structures and negotiate renewal rates. Jeff will also be collaborating with other EHD team members to assess alternative funding strategies and pricing efficiencies for clients.
