Engle-Hambright & Davies (EHD) has been recognized as a “Best Practices Insurance Agency” by the industry trade group, Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) and Reagan Consulting for the third year in a row.
In order to receive this recognition, insurance agencies are selected every third year through an involved nomination and qualifying process based on operational excellence and awarded a “Best Practices Agency” designation after rigorous evaluation.
The Best Practices Study was initiated by IIABA in 1993 as the foundation for efforts to improve agency performance. The annual study of leading independent insurance agencies, which is conducted for IIABA by Reagan Consulting of Atlanta, Ga., documents the business practices of these high performance agencies and urges others to adopt similar practices.
Over 1,300 independent agencies throughout the U.S. were nominated to take part in the current study, but only 267 agencies qualified for the “Best Practices” honor. According to Jon K. Miles, EHD Chairman, President, and CEO, “Being recognized as a “Best Practices Agency” for three years in a row is not something EHD takes for granted. It reflects our unfailing commitment to being a “best in class” company, one that endeavors to take very good care of its clients and employees on a daily basis.”
