Tim Whalen

Tim has 17 years of experience managing employee benefit plans. Tim attended Monmouth University in West Long Branch New Jersey. Prior to joining EHD in July of 2017 Tim was President of Whalen Insurance Associates Inc a regional employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm based in Lancaster PA. Tim started his employee benefits career as a consultant in 2004 with Whalen Insurance Associates. His responsibilities began with sales production, retention, and consultation that include the small, middle and large group markets. In 2014 he became COO and President. In 2017 Whalen Insurance Associates officially became a part of EHD. Tim has received the Registered Employee Benefit Consultant® (REBC®) designation from The National Association of Health Underwriters. NAHU views this designation as the highest form of recognition in the health insurance industry. Is his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and friends and enjoys playing golf and rooting for Philadelphia sports teams.
