Mike Malinowski

Mike was named as EHD's newest President and CEO in August of 2021, and was formerly a Vice President and Wyomissing Branch Manager. He currently provides risk management and insurance brokerage services to cities such as Allentown, Bethlehem, Reading, York and many other Townships, Boroughs and Authorities across the Commonwealth of PA. In his current role, Mike has developed and facilitated numerous training sessions on Act 46, otherwise known as the Firefighter Cancer Presumption Act, and Public Law 477, the PA Heart and Lung Act. He has helped municipalities develop and implement procedures to effectively handle these laws to ensure minimal impact to their general funds. Mike earned his business degree in 1995 from Millersville University and has been employed in the insurance business since that time and now serves as an elected official of Muhlenberg Township, Berks County as the President of the Board of Commissioners. This provides him unique perspective and experience when assisting municipalities in the decision making process for developing its risk management program.

He has also served as the County of Berks Risk and Safety Manager before joining EHD. Mike holds his PA Property and Casualty insurance license and also currently serves on the Executive Board for the Berks Municipal Partnership, Greater Reading Economic Partnership Board of Directors, the YMCA Board of Directors and various other municipal related boards.
