Founded in 1982, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is one of America’s largest retailers of closeouts, excess inventory and salvage merchandise. Ollie’s acquires its inventory by working closely with financial institutions to secure liquidated merchandise from major retail centers; by purchasing salvaged goods through working with insurance companies; and by buying last year’s colors, patterns or packaging from leading manufacturers. The company currently operates 130 “semi-lovely” stores in 13 states and is expanding by implementing a plan to open 20 to 30 stores per year. Headquartered in Harrisburg and employing over 3,000 associates, Ollie’s opened a state of the art distribution center in York in 2011. EHD has managed both the Employee Benefit Program and Property & Casualty coverage for Ollie’s for many years.
